Gossip Girl takes pleasure in reporting that Serena van der Woodsen was spotted buying pregnancy tests. While at the store, a random girl takes some pics of her and tells the whole school that Serena is pregnant. Dan finds out and is confused and somewhat angry, but he learns that Serena isn't the one pregnant. Of course, on the Upper East Side, the truth is often even juicier and more scandalous than the gossip, and this time is no exception. While Blair believes she is pregnant, Nate is furious with both Chuck and Blair, after finding out about their affair. Even though it was after Blair and Nate had broken up, he still couldnt believe that Blair had slept with him. This was too much for Nate to handle. He gets physical with Chuck by pushing him against a limo, then ending their friendship. He tells Blair that he wants nothing to do with her as well.
Also, Dan attempts to tell Serena that he loves her but continues to be interrupted by random events. And Jenny becomes one of Manhattan's elite as Blair is dethroned. After Blair's life begins to erupt with turmoil, she has her mother book a flight for France so she can go to boarding school. Serena, meanwhile, asks Dan why he loves her. He cities many reasons, but also that she can date a guy like him, and still be best friends with a girl like Blair. Serena says she loves him too, and then goes to find Blair. Serena finds out Blair is leaving and stops her before she makes the huge mistake she once made. Serena tells Blair she can still start over and the two girls forget all that has happened between them lately. |
